What colors match Lilac and purple for my bedroom?

I just bought this beautiful comforter set that is lilac and purple and the curtain are a light lilac (lavender). So my question is what colors would accent well with this theme color, like what color should i paint my walls and what other color should i bring in to accent ? My rug is a tan color(light brown very neutral color)Please help If you have any suggestions! thanks

What colors match Lilac and purple for my bedroom?
White accent pillows, and your walls could be either a light shade of lilac if you can find a complimenting shade, or a sand color - light tan or something like that.

You could also do an accent wall - paint three walls in the sand color, and then do the wall behind the headboard (or the back of the room, opposite the furniture layout and hopefully door) in a color-matched lavender that matches your bedspread.

Hope that helps!
Reply:A nice cream or beige color would be nice
Reply:Try various shades of Green, Like lime, puce, dark greens, golden browns, yellows, golds, try some silver and burgandy pillows, for accents and try a taupe paint for walls and sheers for underlayment at the windows
Reply:Cream, off-white, eggshell, beige will work. You can also avoid those boring colors %26amp; contrast with a darker shade of purple or another color altogether. Blue, green %26amp; pink go well with purple %26amp; lilac. There are a lot of color combinations.

Have fun!
Reply:Find a color wheel and the designers say the colors opposite each other always compliment each other.

Reply:I would go with a chocolate brown..So your room doesn%26#039;t look to girly..because when someone says lilac I think too girly..Unless you like girly..Brown will make the purples pop as well..
Reply:dk blue works as well as an olive green or forest green
Reply:I like navy blue with lilac and purple. I doubt you want to paint all your walls that dark, but you may want to do one wall as an accent. Blues and purples together are soothing and calm for a bedroom. Another color that looks good with purple is... believe it or not... green. It has to be just the right shade though. Take your cue from nature. Purple flowers and green leaves.
Reply:white. it always goes great with those colors
Reply:Yellow, green and purple always go together. You just have to stay within the same tones. For example, mustard, moss and earthy eggplant go great together just as soft yellow, soft apple green and lilac go together. Just make sure that if the base in your purple is warm (red) or cool (blue/grey) that the other colors have the same base. Hold your color chips next to eachother, you will be able to see if they all have the same base and thus tone.
Reply:sometimes baby blue looks nice, but go with the natural colors like tans and beiges and those will match fo sure

;)
Reply:a soft buttery yellow. Yellow and purple are opposite each other on the color wheel, therefore they compliment each other.
