I going almost mad about a really nice wtire color lilac bush that I would like to plant in a shade part of my yard, but I am really afraid it won%26#039;t grow or won%26#039;t bloom. Any advise or suggestions? Thank you for your time.

Try to put it in a partial sun location or trim back whatever plant that is making the shade (Or is it a building?). You may be able to transplant other plants to the shade from a sunny spot and pop in the lilac in their place.
Reply:Lilac%26#039;s need alot of sun to bloom.
Reply:My lilac bushes are on the north side of my house. They only get partial sun and do well. After they bloom, if they needed to be shaped up, I do it then. If you do it later they will not bloom the following year.
Reply:sorry lilacs like sun, at least partial, meaning about 6 hours a day.
